As a leader, I try to bring both structure and heart. I want people to feel seen, challenged, and supported, so I give them ownership, room to fail, and honest feedback. I would rather grow a team than be the smartest person in the room.
Outside of work, I love mentoring people taking their first steps in programming. I deeply value time with my family and staying active, whether that is the gym, running, the beach, or snowboarding and skiing. Along the way I keep making new friends, exploring new cultures, and expanding my horizons.

Lead Software Engineer

Grew from Software Engineer to Senior and then Lead. I lead a team of five and I am helping shape a new product engineering function, close to both the code and the product.
- Led the build of a unified internal platform that consolidates the company systems into a single Nx monorepo, with React, Material UI and an in-house design system.
- Designed the AWS infrastructure and CI/CD with Terraform, Bitbucket, Nx affected and Playwright.
- Shipped internal products with the team, including a call center app, a static generator that replaced legacy Smarty templates, an analytics platform and a feature flag platform.
- Partnered with marketing on white label sites and lead conversion, with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Grew the team so every engineer owns their own application, from interns to promotions.
- Now leading the move of a seven year old Smarty system into a monorepo that works like an internal website builder.

Staff Front-end Engineer (founding team)

Founding front end engineer on a platform for course creators, where I later hired and mentored a second engineer. A fully external facing product, so quality and testing came first.
- Led a full front end refactor, adding a design system and raising the quality bar with Jest and Cypress.
- Helped build the tools creators used to run their business: course modules, sales pages with checkout, materials, scheduled Zoom classes and configurable analytics.
- Built a WYSIWYG editor that let each creator design and run their own page.
- Worked closely with product across React, Node.js and GraphQL, and owned front end analytics with Google Analytics, pixels and Hotjar.

Joined as a Senior Front-end Engineer on a platform for traders and investors, then moved to lead a small onboarding squad with a product manager and a designer.
- Led the migration of the public site from WordPress to React, keeping WordPress as a headless CMS.
- Built a guided onboarding experience so each user's first steps were clear and simple.

Software Engineer on the seller onboarding squad at a proptech for buying and selling homes, focused on the front end of the selling experience.
- Made the seller flow and forms faster and clearer, and built systems to bring in more qualified leads.
- Built a dynamic form that adapted to each answer, auto qualifying sellers so they could get a direct proposal instead of a generic reply.
- Helped ship a price simulator on a map: type an address and see the price and its evolution, powered by the company data team. It was featured on Exame.
